Do we love Photoshop? Yes!
Do we used Photoshop to design the web? Yes!
Does original Adobe Photoshop make me work with CSS3 easily? Arrr….
At the moment, I’m writing this article to tell you that Photoshop is a great tool for photography, and we used it often to create our ‘it-should-be-like-this’ web design.
But from the past to now, we still have a set of problem when we need to use our design to be implement in real world web development.
Especially, CSS3, the most impressive version of style sheet language I’ve ever seen. It took all effort in ‘slice-based’ web design out, and bring styling into real-time render.
But yes, designer who don’t need to get himself into coding need to stick with Photoshop, but is there any easier way to work on Photoshop and CSS3 in the same time?
Hello, CSS Hat!
CSS Hat is a Photoshop plug-in, cost $19 (at the moment), and easy to use.
By selecting styled layer, open CSS Hat panel, and WHOOP! the CSS3 code is there!
The plug-in also recognizes some Photoshop effect which could not translate into CSS3 style too. Work like a charm!
Feel free to take a watch on Joe Kennedy’s video review.
